Artist Talk Melissa Gordon: Making ‘A Living Archive’ as part of a larger practice

Melissa Gordon is a British and American artist living in Brussels. She works in painting and printmaking and also has a practice where she writes and publishes and organises feminist activities and texts. For her talk she will be presenting a recent project archiving ten years of feminist activities (http://alivingarchive.com) and will position this within her larger practice of recent paintings titled ‘Female Readymades’ for which she evaluates specific histories related to gender and gesture in painting.
