Repositioning Digital Care Making: Everyday Care and ‘Post-harm’ approaches to Technology Facilitated Gender and Sexual Violence
I argue that the approaches to the rise of Technology Facilitated Gender and Sexual Violence articulated by multiple intermediaries position care as a ‘post-harm’ approach which positions digital care as a scarce, temporary, and critical resource that fosters competition between multiple groups with care claims. Drawing from 3 years of working with 10 digital global care makers, I propose three transitions that can help create conditions to activate everyday digital care.
